LANMECCA://NET game preservation - old tech - home lab notes - lan never died
What is LanMecca? old machines still have work to do
Computers were better when you could open them, break them, fix them, and understand why they worked.

LanMecca is a retro computing and gaming site for people who still want computers to feel like machines instead of sealed appliances. It is a place for old LAN games, salvaged hardware, emulator notes, repair logs, project tools, and field notes that make a weird fix repeatable six months later.

The point is not nostalgia by itself. A rescued tower, a softmodded Xbox, a recapped CRT, a Doom box, a Quake server, or a half-finished arcade cabinet all carry the same idea: old tech is still useful when someone cares enough to keep it alive.
